1. BEECH TIMBER is the company’s main scope. It is obtained from quality logs that are carefully selected and processed according to high standards.
The beech timber production includes a wide range of species, sizes and various quality steps.
STEAMED AND DISINFECTED GREEN BEECH TIMBER

DRIED BEECH TIMBER - on the customer’s request, we can provide minimum 12% humidity
Our products are characterized by quality and appearance and they constantly meet the requirements of the internal and international market. The quality conditions are established together with the customer.
In accordance with the Romanian standard, the timber quality can be:
   - China 4FC quality – the best quality to be processed from beech log. The resulting timber is free of knots or false heartwood, with an even appearance on all 4 sides. No storage or processing faults, traces of mold or insect holes are permitted.
   - China 3FC quality – one knot is accepted on a single side of the part or a trace of false heartwood, however which does not impact the appearance and use of the wood.
   - Orient A quality – a healthy false heartwood is only accepted for maximum 30%-40% of the width. Healthy knots shall be accepted under a 10 mm diameter, and a single healthy knot shall be accepted for a 2 meter length. None of the admitted knots shall impair the durability, stability and workability of the wood.
   - Orient B quality – more healthy false heartwood is accepted than in class A. Healthy knots with a diameter of less than 20 mm shall not be considered, and two healthy nodes shall be accepted over this diameter, of which one shall be penetrating, for a 2 meter length.
   - Internal B and Internal C

2. RESINOUS TIMBER – on the customer’s request, in observance of the specifications it has requested, we can also fulfill orders for resinous timber.

3. BEECH LOG
a) TECHNICAL VENEER
Sizes:
   - minimum length: 2.5 m
   - minimum diameter: 40 cm at the thin end, bark-free
Fault acceptance conditions:
   - the following shall not be accepted: decay, star-shaped heart, knots, bark pockets, twisted growth, bends, holes caused by insects, forking, frost cracks, ring shakes.
   - the following shall be accepted: healthy false heartwood for maximum 10% of the diameter.
Under such conditions, 2.5 - 3 m length is accepted, maximum 10% of the delivered quantity.

b) CLASS A SAW MILL
Sizes:
   - minimum length: 2.5 m
   - minimum diameter: 30 cm at the thin end, bark-free
Fault acceptance conditions:
   - the following shall not be accepted: decay, decaying star-shaped heart, healthy knots with a diameter over 10 cm and with a distribution of over 1 knot/ml in the same plan for a 1 m length, bark pockets, twisted growth over 15%, bend > 5%, holes caused by insects, forking, frost cracks, ring shakes.
   - the following shall be accepted: healthy false heartwood maximum for 20% of the diameter; for logs with a diameter over 40 cm at the thin end, holes shall be accepted in the middle, and the abovementioned faults shall be deducted.
Under such conditions, 30-40 cm diameter is accepted at the thin end, bark-free, for maximum 30% of the delivered quantity.

b) CLASS B SAW MILL
Sizes:
   - minimum length: 2.5 m
   - minimum diameter: 20 cm at the thin end, bark-free
Fault acceptance conditions:
   - the following shall not be accepted: decay, decaying star-shaped heart, healthy knots with a diameter over 15 cm and with a distribution of over 1 knot/ml in the same plan for a 1 m length, bark pockets, twisted growth over 15%, bend > 5%, holes caused by insects, forking, frost cracks, ring shakes.
   - the following shall be accepted: holes in the middle, healthy false heartwood for maximum 40% of the diameter; star-shaped heart max. 14 cm, if the healthy wood remaining between such faults and the log circumference is at least 20 cm, and the above mentioned faults shall be deducted.
